this is a gold mine especially with social media because it's available to you for free all you have to do all we have to do is to understand how this vehicle works and what it takes to fuel it whatever I was doing at the time I wasn't working I was trying to convince myself that because it wasn't working um I should stop and then just not continue and give up on whatever that might be whether that was running a business my business or with my fitness journey and as I was trying to convince myself it wasn't the fact that it wasn't working at the time it was the fact the thing I was doing it was just simply not enough and and in in most cases this is something that we all uh come across to when we first try something new when we first we want to we want to see amazing results in in less period of time and all of a sudden what we actually do is we actually self- sabotage ourself ourselves by not doing enough and by not doing enough of what it needs to be done automatically it put you in a situation that you're trying to convince yourself that XY Z is not actually working for you therefore you give up therefore you not uh keeping up to your promise and therefore uh you don't make the same result results other people are making now we often and I put myself as an example I was used to think of I was comparing myself rather with other people and how successful they became in in the less or even the same amount time I was doing the things uh like they were doing as well and I was constantly asking myself what is the main reason how is the guy um had found success at the same amount of time that I was doing the same thing and I was not and I don't want you to fail uh over this trap because the only thing that you do that you do is to actually put yourself in someone else's shoes not necessarily that is wrong but if you start copying all the same mechanisms all the same techniques that someone else uh did for themselves then it your version of Success is Not Guaranteed and this is why um when I recently came across to uh someone and they said to me instead of you trying to follow someone else's footsteps why don't you create your own and at the time didn't really make a lot of sense to me until actually thought about it and and actually made progress over the things that I was doing by myself while in the meantime I was trying to learn what works in the majority so I can at least have some data of what has been uh what has worked over the years so I don't fall up fall down and make the same mistakes now I understand this statement is sort of controversial and there's two sides there two things here to mention but um what I really want to say about that specific topic is that you want to do things on your own way with your own personality with your own touching on on the things that you create um whether that is to do with your relationships your Fitness uh goals or in your business as whole and I think this is something that we all really need to think about and especially with the new year coming up uh next week actually uh we really want to create and pl a plan that we can succeed now success for everybody is different based on their own metrics their own personalities and how um how much are they willing to sacrifice and this is this is huge because ever since I've started my own uh solopreneurship I understand now how difficult it is even if I'm still in the very early um days I've only been doing this for about a year or so I understand the challenges understand the the pressure that it has it's almost like you have a kid of your own and you really care about the kid and meaning your own business and if you're someone that you doing this by yourself understand how difficult it can be how overwhelming can be sometimes because you're the only person that chase everything up now one piece of uh advice someone gave me was that instead of trying to chase everything by myself and learn uh with my own mistakes while doing so I should try and see what successful people are doing and trying to reverse engineer time and what do I mean by this instead of me having a mindset of how can become successful tomorrow or in the next couple months or years I should ask myself what would a millionaire or a billionaire do so I can avoid spending that much time and avoid spending so much so many resources um so I can learn quicker and I immediately position myself and ask myself the question of how would XYZ millionaire uh what what would they do in this situation in my situation today and as if you're someone who's running their own business and you you know this for fact that every single day is a new problem and every time you solve a problem there's a new problem that rises so this is this is very interesting and this is something that I want you to really take uh moving forward in 2024 I really wish you all the best things in the world I hope you um get as much as possible because now we living in an era where everything becomes digital and everything will become digital with years to come especially especially with technology and how advanced technology has become and we have I don't think we have seen anything at all as of yet because we're very early stages on the AI and Technology as a whole now that's just another topic but it's really equally critical to mention because you want to be on the on the side of the winning side now if you're someone who's enjoying working for for someone else there's nothing wrong with that as as long as you find joy to what you actually do and for everybody for anybody that they don't actually find Joy ask yourself what you what is your your own version of finding happiness and finding joy into what you want to do I found out throughout throughout the time um I'm doing all these sort of things and running the business and and on the site I'm really asking myself and trying I'm seeing myself that I really like to be more productive and actually do the stuff in less time because if I'm not going to do that I'm always going to put excuses in my mind and I'm never going to do the work and I'm never going to see the results because I haven't put the work in the first place and for most people this is where this is where we fail we don't actually put the working even if we know how much time how much work we have to put in to get XY Z results there's one quote that I really liked when I came across the other day and this one s like there is no Monopoly on becoming a millionaire if you're jealous of those with more money don't just sit there and complain do something to make more money yourself and this is exactly what we actually talking about and this is exactly where my mindset is I have some uh friends or family members they say oh you're not talking as much anymore you know we're trying to communicate but this is I'm not trying you should just put everyone aside but once you start on this journey you you have to understand your whatever version of you were before you need to adjust and become the ideal version of you succeeding and how you do that again you reverse engineer of how would a millionaire or billionaire would actually do for them to have that kind of mindset for them to be able to uh sustain and and grow their business and do more things and be more flexible while they they still have a relationship while they still have their um the marriage or the relationships with their friends and family so you all need to um have to address those situations and I had to do that myself because they are so important to address earlier on in the beginning and the sooner you make um the sooner you address those things the better because now you have set the expectations when someone is calling you every single day someone is messaging you every single day say hey I understand you want to we had this kind of relationship however things now I'm are changing for me and I want to actually do something great and it's not that I don't want to talk to you it's just a money available so and so so many days so that we can still catch up there's one thing that I have personally as well but I also see um some people that are really struggling with is what would actually what will people around them or people that um they associating themselves with would say when they actually do content or when they they want to focus more on their business aspect or actually be more creative and productive to their own time and I think my best advice on this kind of situation would be ask yourself what you actually doing this for and what is your dream outcome because if you really passionate about something and you really want to be some someone one day no matter what that is you want to you want to already imagine yourself being in that situation that position cuz then if you're already in that position you you won't be able to have the same traits the same personality traits as you are right now as we all know people involv people change and as we keep introducing new new problems to our lives whether we like it or not they will come but we still have to face them we still need to address them and be able to uh overcome any challenges without having them to stop from what we actually do and love because if we if you come across to any type of situation and that is the number one thing that is holding you back today then this is this is something that you really want to sit down and have a conversation with yourself and believe it or not most of the time by having a conversation with your actual yourself and really asking and addressing the problems um with yourself you will tell yourself what the solution is and if you can't do that just try and have a conversation with someone that you really trust and know that they won't talk to any anybody about um a very vulnerable situation that you are in and you don't you don't feel like talking that with someone else so this is something that I'll personally do no matter what it is no matter if it's business relationships or anything else three things to come one step closer to be successful I would say number one is reverse and at the time and actually trying to think as someone who's already done it and and is currently in in that position that you would like to be in the future and ask yourself how can I be there what would that person do right now with my current problem and the more that you keep digging in this uh question that the more solutions the more answers you will find whether you use social media or the internet at all number two will be plan out the stuff beforehand especially if you're a content creator or having a your own podcast you want to plan ahead every single thing that you want to do because if you don't you will find out that you're not being consistent you don't enjoy this anymore because you have to do this again and again every single time rather than you're about to produce your own content and the third piece of advice is that you show up every single day and for a lot of us showing up every single day really means a lot in different ways if it's in your business you want to really address the point of why you showing up every day what do you want to achieve what is your your ideal outcome from that and if you're the point of your business where you just you finding you're finding yourself that it's just a stable line and you're not making any progress just trying to be more creative find more creative ways to uh generate more sales to your business and have more more of the things that I can bring you more eyeballs to your business and when it comes to that I I'll personally recommend to everybody to get on social media today it's no late I used to believe social media are for the people who just uh they don't have anything else to do then they just want to be an influencer I've said this before but I really changed my mindset I really changed the way I see things and if you really see this that way and if you're just thinking as just another way of marketing this is the place that you really want to double down on especially if you if you have previously run some sort of pay Dodge you already know how how difficult it is to um to sustain such thing because they are so expensive to do now I know it's different tactics that you can use but and you also get guaranteed results but with social media you actually do this thing for free and what I've really come across too lately is that more successful people actually really double down on social media providing as much value as possible for free so they can increase the number of sales they have later on because that way they also they also build their own personal brand and it doesn't matter if you're a local business owner or an incom one either way you want to really think about this and this is something that I talk inside of my new program everybody should have a podcast nowadays because podcast is one of if not the easiest one of the easiest way to ways to produce a lot of content because the texture and how other people are using it allows you to do the same exact thing whether you have some sort of uh background or expertise or whether you are really passionate about a sport or a hobby that you do on the weekend it doesn't really matter as long as you get the stuff right get in front of the camera and do the thing now there's other things that you really want to keep planning on how you uh you get more stuff and and how you get more eyeballs but that comes with time yeah comes with you learning every single day every single time you doing more and more and this is something that I've come across myself every time that I do this over and over again I always learn a lot of things and this is you will find yourself becoming more expert in so many different areas CU it's not just being from the camera it's how you talk how you interview someone what style of interviewer you are uh what are the things that you talk about all the way from body language to um building a relationship with your ideal guest and this is all those things they come with time you building your personality you're building your expertise with more time uh as much as you do it the more that you do it and now you see there are so many people they can um other businesses they start approaching them and and they say yeah you want to I saw you on Tik Tok I just want to I just want to know if you're legit so we can collab and we can start from tomorrow because they have already seen so much of this guys or whoever content and now they have overcome this Obstacle of them trusting you cuz if you're a business owner who has previously run ads you know for fact that you're trying to uh come across to eyeballs that they haven't seen you before that they may not have seen you before and with social media nowadays it's so easy to get so many views you see teenagers getting millions of views on Tik Tok doing some of stupid Dance I mean you don't need to do the same stuff you know I don't ask you to create a dance Tik Tok video but those things are really matter because they are different audiencing and different uh different um platforms then the only thing that an our person really um doubling down on is to actually understand how each of the social media platform actually works and it's not late and you know what social media platforms are are changing over and over again and you have to keep uh yourself updating on how how much are they have they changed and their algorithm and all that I understand how overhelmed this can be however sales and people have remain the same they're still they're still behaving the same way as as they behaved um a couple years ago and they still buy based on how much how many emotions you invoke um with your ad copy with the ads that you create and the more organic this ad um is the better your results will be if you run any ads later on using that copy with using that creative and it's as simple as that now understand there's a lot of things that you need to know and there's a lot of time that you want to um spend when you first starting it first start this thing or if you're already already doing this uh which is precisely the number one reason I'm trying to uh come across with new ways of introducing new ways and how can people can benefit through those ways so you don't have to go through all of those uh communition and with time I will address some of the common that I have faced other people are currently facing especially with podcasting if that's something that is really interesting uh in you but yeah start today this is the number one advice that I can give to anybody anybody and you'll see that in couple of months from now you will ask yourself maybe this thing is not working but then all of a sudden you're doing some communities I really talk to people without even knowing them just asking for advice I go to some of people's podcast and I see what they're talking about and I DM them I say hey I really like the content that you make I really have a question if you don't mind how would you deal with this XY Z situation you're older than than me hope you're wiser than me and it maybe your advice would
